Old St. Hilary's - 1888
201 Esperanza, Tiburon, Marin County
This deconsecrated Catholic mission, located on Esperanza is in the midst of a rare
wildflower preserve. One of the few Carpenter Gothic churches to survive in its
original setting, it was built in 1888 to serve railroad families. Views of the
Bay and Golden Gate Bridge are superb.
This Marin historic landmark may be rented for any appropriate function, such as weddings,
name day celebrations, memorial services, concerts and recitals. For more information, click on the rental information tab at the top of the page.

Tiburon Railroad-Ferry Depot Museum - 1900
1920 Paradise Dr., Tiburon, Marin County
A relic of the railroad-ferry yards and piers at Point Tiburon, the depot is on the National Register of Historic Places. The only dual-use terminal to survive west of the Hudson River, it has been restored and currently houses a museum of railroad-ferry history, Point Tiburon c1900.

SS China Cabin - 1866
52 Beach Rd., Belvedere, Marin County
The Social Saloon of the SS China (1866) beached on Belvedere Cove in 1886,
is a national maritime monument. The gilded Victorian drawing room was salvaged
when the sidewheeler was burned for scrap metal. Restoration took eight years
and cost $600,000. A spectacular location on the water in Marin.

Landmarks Art & Garden Center - 1870
841 Tiburon Blvd., Tiburon, Marin County
This restored bunkhouse/farm cottage includes two galleries for exhibits
and receptions. Together with an acre of terraced gardens and views of
Richardson Bay and Mt. Tamalpias, this site makes a lovely setting for
weddings, memorial services, luncheons, dinners, meetings and seminars.

Landmarks History Collections
1550 Tiburon Blvd., Courtyard
The Archives are located in a controlled environment at the Boardwalk
Shopping Center. The collection contains photographs, art, maps,
documents, books, journals, oral histories and artifacts focusing on
the history of the Rancho Corte Madera del Presidio, an 1838 Mexican
land grant to John T. Reed and Ylaria Sanchez.
